Nourishing a Better Life: William’s Wild Fork Story
William Lanham struggled with obesity, diabetes, and other health issues for over 30 years despite being active. After a heart attack and a move to Florida with his fiancée Heather—who was battling MS—he turned to a carnivore diet focused on animal products. The results were life-changing: William lost 118 pounds, eliminated chronic pain, and regained energy; Heather’s MS went into remission, and she returned to full-time work. When buying quality meat became too expensive, they discovered Wild Fork Foods. The affordable, high-quality meat not only made their diet sustainable but brought joy back into their lives. William eventually joined the Wild Fork team, finding purpose in sharing his transformation story with customers. For him and Heather, Wild Fork wasn’t just a grocery store — it was a turning point that helped them reclaim their health and inspire others.

Walking with Purpose: Wild Fork Joins NAMI Walks for Mental Health Awareness
On May 10, Wild Fork Foods' Support Center team participated in their first NAMIWalks Miami-Dade 5K at loanDepot Park to support mental health awareness. Organized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the event promotes support for the 1 in 5 adults affected by mental illness. Wild Fork exceeded their fundraising goal, raising $1,850 and ranking 13th out of 208 teams. The event showcased the team’s unity and commitment to community well-being, aligning with the company’s values and mission to “Nourish a Better Life” through their Forkies for Good initiative.
Nourishing Lives at Juniper Village
Brian McKay, Store Manager of Wild Fork Foods in Paramus, hosted a heartwarming cooking demonstration at Juniper Village, an assisted living and memory care community in Bergen County, NJ. The event, featuring Wild Fork’s angus meatball skewers, aimed to foster connection, spark memories, and bring joy to senior residents. Inspired by his wife's work at Juniper Village and his own commitment to community engagement, McKay began these regular cooking demos after opening the store in 2024. These events reflect the shared values of Wild Fork and Juniper Communities—nourishing lives through meaningful experiences. A larger BBQ event is planned for National Assisted Living Week in September, expecting over 100 attendees.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Wild Fork Foods strongly supports October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and has collaborated with several organizations in the hopes of finding a cure.
In 2023, Wild Fork held a Give Back event with the National Breast Cancer Foundation in our Frisco, Texas, store. From 4 to 6 p.m., 15% of the sales went back to the organization. Our Texas team raised $900 for the foundation alone during this event!
Meanwhile, in South Florida, over 60 team members and their families proudly wore pink for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which took place at the Miami Marlins baseball stadium. The 5K (3.2 miles) event is a significant fundraising effort to support breast cancer research, awareness, and patient support as part of the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK walk series, and our participation contributed to this noble cause.
Hermanos De La Calle
Hermanos De La Calle (Brothers of the Street) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reintegrating individuals experiencing homelessness into society by offering security, love, support, and opportunity. It started as a group of families providing warm meals to unhoused residents in downtown and Overtown Miami. It has grown since to help hundreds of individuals and families, including assisting migrants without a place to go.
Since 2021, Wild Fork has participated in donating food to Hermanos De La Calle's local events, which support their specific programs, including housing opportunities, health checks, food, and clothing. All proceeds from these events, which are 100% of the dollars donated, go towards supporting the unsheltered individuals to help them gain back their dignity and their place in society.
We are deeply grateful for the support and partnership of Hermanos De La Calle. Together, we stand strong in their mission to help those in need.

Miami Rescue Mission
Wild Fork Foods' annual food donations significantly impact various communities in South Florida. Miami Rescue Mission, a nonprofit organization, is a beacon of hope for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Miami and Broward County. This robust partnership was established in 2020 by Wild Fork, driven by a deep commitment to social responsibility, and is a testament to our dedication and sincerity.
It offers a wide range of comprehensive services, including emergency shelter, hot meals, life-changing residential programs, job training, healthcare, and transitional and permanent housing, ensuring no one is left behind.
Wild Fork Foods generously donated thousands of pounds to the Miami Rescue Mission, making a significant difference in the lives of those in need. This scale of donation is a testament to the profound impact we can make when we come together for a common cause.
