Over the past few weeks, team members from Wild Fork locations across the country came together to support mental health awareness through our partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)—the nation’s largest grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
This year marked Wild Fork’s second year participating in NAMIWalks. What began last year with a single walk in Miami has grown into a multi‑city effort, reflecting our continued commitment to expanding our impact and showing up for the communities where we live and work.
From Miami to Dallas to Houston, and even Trenton, our teams showed up with energy, compassion, and purpose. Many participants were joined by family members, making these walks even more meaningful and reinforcing the idea that mental health is something that touches us all.
In total, 54 participants across nine teams helped raise $2,448, supporting NAMI’s work in mental health education, advocacy, and access to care.
Why NAMI Matters
NAMI plays a critical role in raising awareness, reducing stigma, and providing resources for individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. Our partnership during Mental Health Awareness Month reflects a shared belief that strong communities are built on care, connection, and access to support.
Giving Back with Purpose
This initiative is part of Wild Fork’s broader approach to community involvement, grounded in our purpose of Nourishing a Better Life. We believe giving back should be meaningful, inclusive, and reflective of who we are as a company.
Through efforts like NAMIWalks, our teams could come together beyond the workplace, supporting causes that matter deeply to our people and the communities we serve.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, we’re encouraged by the growth of this effort and inspired by the passion of our teams. We look forward to continuing our partnership with NAMI and expanding participation across even more regions in the years ahead.
Together, we’re proud to take steps—both big and small—toward stronger, healthier communities.
