A quick & easy meal all in one skillet, Latin Pepper Steak makes for a great dinner any night of the week.
1 Tbsp. Light Olive Oil
Tbsp. White Vinegar
3 Garlic Cloves, sliced
1 ½ Cups Brown Gravy
2 Tbsp. Cilantro, chopped
Season strips with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over to medium high heat. Sear steak strips quickly over high heat and remove from skillet after 5 minutes.*
Add peppers, onion and garlic to skillet and sauté until wilted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour in vinegar and reduce for one minute. Add brown gravy, bring to a simmer and add the seared beef strips.
To serve, sprinkle with cilantro and serve over white rice.
*USDA recommends cooking beef to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F
