A healthy meal perfect for a cold day. Our 90% lean ground sirloin ensures a wholesome bite, but this chili doesn't skimp on flavor.
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
12 oz. Can Garbanzo Beans, drained
12 oz. Can Kidney Beans, drained
1 Medium Onion, chopped
1 Green Bell Pepper, diced
1 Jalapeno, thinly sliced
1 Tomato, chopped
2 Cups Beef Broth
1 1/3 Cup Tomato Puree
3 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Cumin
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and green pepper and cook, stirring constantly for a few minutes. Add beef and continue to cook, breaking up beef while cooking. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until browned.
Add garbanzo and kidney beans, garlic, jalapenos, tomato, beef broth, tomato puree, salt, chili powder, cumin and Butcher’s Salt and Pepper. Cover, lower the heat and continue to cook slowly for 20 minutes.*
