Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Wild Fork Foods strongly supports October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and has collaborated with several organizations in the hopes of finding a cure.

In 2023, Wild Fork held a Give Back event with the National Breast Cancer Foundation in our Frisco, Texas, store. From 4 to 6 p.m., 15% of the sales went back to the organization. Our Texas team raised $900 for the foundation alone during this event!

Meanwhile, in South Florida, over 60 team members and their families proudly wore pink for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which took place at the Miami Marlins baseball stadium. The 5K (3.2 miles) event is a significant fundraising effort to support breast cancer research, awareness, and patient support as part of the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK walk series, and our participation contributed to this noble cause.

Hermanos De La Calle

Hermanos De La Calle

Hermanos De La Calle (Brothers of the Street) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reintegrating individuals experiencing homelessness into society by offering security, love, support, and opportunity. It started as a group of families providing warm meals to unhoused residents in downtown and Overtown Miami. It has grown since to help hundreds of individuals and families, including assisting migrants without a place to go.

Since 2021, Wild Fork has participated in donating food to Hermanos De La Calle's local events, which support their specific programs, including housing opportunities, health checks, food, and clothing. All proceeds from these events, which are 100% of the dollars donated, go towards supporting the unsheltered individuals to help them gain back their dignity and their place in society.

We are deeply grateful for the support and partnership of Hermanos De La Calle. Together, we stand strong in their mission to help those in need.

Miami Rescue Mission

Miami Rescue Mission

Wild Fork Foods' annual food donations significantly impact various communities in South Florida. Miami Rescue Mission, a nonprofit organization, is a beacon of hope for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Miami and Broward County. This robust partnership was established in 2020 by Wild Fork, driven by a deep commitment to social responsibility, and is a testament to our dedication and sincerity.

It offers a wide range of comprehensive services, including emergency shelter, hot meals, life-changing residential programs, job training, healthcare, and transitional and permanent housing, ensuring no one is left behind.

Wild Fork Foods generously donated thousands of pounds to the Miami Rescue Mission, making a significant difference in the lives of those in need. This scale of donation is a testament to the profound impact we can make when we come together for a common cause.
