Recipe:New York Strip Steak with Blackened Spicy Mojo Rub

Serving Size
  • Prime Black Angus New York Strip Steak, thawed

    Qty 1.5 Lbs.
  • Blackened Seasoning

    1 bottle
    Qty 1 tsp.
  • Spicy Mojo Seasoning

    1 bottle
    Qty 1 tsp.
  • Fresh Thyme, chopped

    Qty 1 ½ tsp.
  • Himalayan Pink Salt

    1 bottle
    Qty To taste
  • Light Olive Oil

    Qty To taste


  1. Preheat grill or pan to medium-high temperature. If using a pan, add 1 tsp. olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix seasonings together. Coat New York Strip Steaks lightly with olive oil and season both sides with seasoning. Sprinkle Himalayan Pink salt and thyme on top.
  3. Place steaks on the grill or pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.*
  4. Remove from grill, tent with aluminum foil, and let rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Slice and serve.
    *USDA recommends cooking beef to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F
