Recipe:Waygu Rib Eye with Shiitake Mushrooms and Thin Green Beans

Serves 2



  1. Season Waygu Steak with WF Coarse Sea Salt and Black Pepper. Preheat an iron skillet over high heat. Place steak in hot skillet and and cook 1 ½ - 2 minutes per side or until medium rare.* Let rest on a cutting board and prepare green beans.

  2. Place some olive oil in the same skillet and lower to medium high. Sauté the shiitake mushrooms for 30 seconds, season with salt and pepper.  Add thawed green beans and continue to stir fry for few minutes until hot. Season with Asian seasoning, sprinkle some sesame seeds and add some additional salt if needed.

  3. Slice the steak and serve with green bean salad. USDA recommends to cook beef until it reaches and internal temperature of 145 °F.
