Recipe:Shrimp and Grits

  • Prep time: 20 minutes
  • Cook time: 5 minutes

Serves 4-6



  1. In a large saucepan, bring the broth, milk, butter, salt and pepper to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in the grits. Cover and cook for 15- 20 minutes stirring often. Stir in the cheese and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and place in a paper towel. Pat dry the shrimp with a paper towel and season with WF seasoning of choice. Cook in the bacon drippings for 5-6 minutes or until pink. Stir in bacon.

  3. Serve grits in a bowl, add shrimp and sprinkle the green onions on top.
