Uncooked WF peeled and deveined shrimp (31-40)

WF Blackened Seasoning or Best of the Bay

Green Onions, sliced

WF Berkshire Bacon strips, cut in pieces

Chicken Broth
QTY 2 cups
Milk
QTY 2 cups
Butter
QTY 1/3 cup
Salt
QTY 1 teaspoon
Black Pepper

Grits, old fashioned
QTY ¾ cup
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

In a large saucepan, bring the broth, milk, butter, salt and pepper to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in the grits. Cover and cook for 15- 20 minutes stirring often. Stir in the cheese and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and place in a paper towel. Pat dry the shrimp with a paper towel and season with WF seasoning of choice. Cook in the bacon drippings for 5-6 minutes or until pink. Stir in bacon.
Serve grits in a bowl, add shrimp and sprinkle the green onions on top.
