Recipe:Scarlet Shrimp a la Plancha

Serves 3-4



  1. Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large iron skillet over medium high heat. Add shrimp, sprinkle with coarse sea salt and cook for 1 1/2 minute per side.

  3. Add butter and garlic to shrimp. Stir until coated and transfer to a platter.

  4. Sprinkle with lemon juice and chopped parsley.

    USDA recommends to cook seafood to an internal temperature 140 F.
