Recipe:Grilled Flap Meat with Soy and Ginger Marinade

For a tangy meal at a low price, this Grilled Flap Meat is perfect for a quick & easy weeknight dinner. Serves 4 - 8.


Serving Size


  1. In a medium bowl, blend soy sauce, ginger, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place flap meat on a cutting board and pat dry with a paper towel. Place in the soy sauce mix, cover and allow to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat grill to medium high and place the marinated steaks on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until it reaches an internal temperature of 125°F-130°F.*
  4. Let grilled meat rest for 5 minutes before serving.
    *USDA recommends cooking beef to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F
