Thaw and pat dry fish filets. Prepare batter.
Mix dry ingredients and using a whisk, stir in the Lager Beer.
Heat oil in a deep skillet or electric fryer to 350° F.
Dip fish filets in batter, coating well on all sides and deep fry until golden brown. Place in a plate with paper towel and keep warm.
Chips: Place potatoes in hot oil and deep fry until golden brown. Drain in paper towel and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Serve fried fish with fries and garnish with lemon wedge and malt vinegar on the side. *USDA recommends cooking fish to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F
