Cooking
Instructions
- Mix all butter ingredients in a bowl and set aside at room temperature.
- Preheat oven to broil. Using sharp kitchen scissors, cut top shell of lobster tail right through the middle lengthwise, starting from thickest part of tail and up to ½” from the end of tail. Do not cut into fan of tail.
- Slightly pry open the shell and using fingertips, carefully detach the lobster flesh, keeping the ½” tail-end portion attached. Carefully close the empty part of the shell laying lobster meat on top. Place in a broiling pan.
- Using a small spatula, generously spread the lobster flesh with seasoned butter. Broil on top rack of the oven for 5-6 minutes or until lobster meat is no longer transparent.* 5. Place lobster tails on a platter, sprinkle with parsley, salt and pepper to taste. *USDA recommends cooking fish and shellfish to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F.
