Directions

  1. Mix all butter ingredients in a bowl and set aside at room temperature.

  2. Preheat oven to broil. Using sharp kitchen scissors, cut top shell of lobster tail right through the middle lengthwise, starting from thickest part of tail and up to ½” from the end of tail. Do not cut into fan of tail.

  3. Slightly pry open the shell and using fingertips, carefully detach the lobster flesh, keeping the ½” tail-end portion attached. Carefully close the empty part of the shell laying lobster meat on top. Place in a broiling pan.

  4. Using a small spatula, generously spread the lobster flesh with seasoned butter. Broil on top rack of the oven for 5-6 minutes or until lobster meat is no longer transparent.*

  5. Place lobster tails on a platter, sprinkle with parsley, salt and pepper to taste. *USDA recommends cooking fish and shellfish to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F
